Nail depression

Ouch. That nail staining incident has done very bad things for my nail enthusiasm. There is a natural explanation to that. I really like bright colors in my nails - but they don't go with everything. When my nails are in good shape I have always the option just to remove the polish if my bright manicure is too much.

With stained nails I feel that I need some sort of cover all time - plus I have abandoned my plans to grow the nails a bit, I'm keeping them almost tipless to get rid of the yellow as soon as possible.

I'm not good with superfast manicures, I always end up with a mess when I do my manicure in a haste. So I have end up using super safe color options that go with almost everything: black, gray, opaque neutrals. Both of my Manglaze polishes have been in constant use, I really like them in everyday use.

The stains are now halfway of my nails and I have slowly started to browse through the autumn shades.

  1. Glad you've posted again! I use 2 coats of base coat and I still get staining. I don't know what else to do. The only way I've gotten rid of it before was not to wear nail polish for 3 months. That's not going to happen!

  2. Yellow nails are so_terrible... Now I finally got rid of mine, it took several months :/ I will never ever use Cng Entourage again!

Hope see nice autumn NOTD's from you soon :)

  3. I use Nubar Nu Nails and though I still get minor staining from the really pigmented polishes, they've improved greatly.

  4. Hello Francine, the weekend my nails are still 2 days without varnish to let them breathe, if not always a protective base and a bath with hydrogen peroxide as needed courage you come to the end:)

  5. I'm a total lazy ass with base coats, I never use one. So I have to blame myself. But in the future I will definitely think twice before slathering some super pigmented varnish to bare nails.

Just hating the idea of adding one or two additional coats to my manicure routine...

  6. I love it! Very creative! That's actually really cool.
